Top Ways to Settle Into Your New Custom Home

March 16, 2017

Before you have a housewarming party, here are some ways to get settled in!

Let people know that your address has changed.

Meet your neighbors!

Get to know your home. Walking through and taking note of everything will help you adjust.

Let your builder know if there are any issues.

Invite friends and family to enjoy your favorite place to be!

5 Safety Tips For Your New Home

March 16, 2017

1. Familiarize yourself with your electrical system.

2. Test your smoke detectors and familiarize yourself with their sound.

3. Put your street number, not your name, on your mailbox.

4. When moving in, always secure household chemicals and flammables first.

5. Come up with a plan and meeting spot if there were ever an emergency. Unfamiliar spaces can make an emergency situation go awry.

Sometimes the above tips go forgotten in the excitement of a new home, but with some thought, you will always be prepared!
